Creating a new action

Explanation
MobileGTD uses simple text files for projects. Each line in a project file can be either an action or an info. When adding an action to a project, a new line is added to the project file and a file is created in a directory structure corresponding to your contexts. If you e.g. create an action “Computer Download new version of MobileGTD” MobileGTD will create a file “Download new version of MobileGTD.act” in a directory called “Computer/”. You can also use nested contexts, e.g. “Computer/Online/” to further structur your contexts. To avoid too much typing you can define abbreviations for contexts, you could e.g. define “26″ to be expanded to “Computer/Online/”.

You can then use any file explorer to browse through your actions and delete done ones. When processing projects MobileGTD automatically searches for deleted actions and sets them to done in the project file.

Summary
If this sounds rather complicated, fear not! It’s dead simple! All you have to do is use the graphical interface to create and manage your projects and any file explorer to browse through the actions and delete the ones you have done.

What phones does it work on?
Truphone aims to bring VoIP to mass-market mobile phones, starting with Nokia’s N-series and E-series, to be quickly followed by other handsets. You can view compatible phones here.
Numbering & international
Truphone is available to download and use across the globe. You can install Truphone right now and begin making free or VoIP-rate calls. Please check the legal status of VoIP in the territory where you intend using Truphone before using the service.

Truphone’s aim to is to roll out a full operator service which includes our own set of local country phone numbers.

As our first step towards this, users in the UK and US will get Truphone numbers appropriate to their countries (i.e. +44 and +1 respectively). These users will be able to make and receive calls on their Truphone numbers as normal. Users elsewhere will not be given a Truphone number for now.
No Emergency Calls
Truphone is not a replacement for your ordinary telephone service and you cannot make emergency calls using Truphone. However this does not prevent you using your mobile phone for making emergency calls via your Cellular Provider as normal.

Y-Browser is a filebrowser application designed for S60 3rd edition devices (Symbian OS 9–>). Earlier releases include also versions for 1st and 2nd edition, but since 0.80 only 3rd edition devices are supported. This is due some API’s that are only supported in 3rd edition.

If you need more information on the functionality of Y-Browser, you can visit AllAboutSymbian or Symbian in motion and read the reviews they have written.

Incase you feel that some file support or other type of functionality is missing from the Y-Browser, then you could visit NewLC and start implementing your own plug-ins for Y-Browser.

Y-Browser is currently available in following 30 languages:
English, French, German, Spanish, Italian, Swedish, Danish, Portuguese, Russian Hungarian, Dutch, Polish, Slovenian, Chinese(PRC),Chinese(Taiwan), Thai, Bulgarian, Indonesian, Hebrew, Romanian, Lithuanian, Turkish, Slovak, Greek, Croatian, Finnish, Serbian, Norwegian, Macedonian & Arabic.

If your language is not included yet, please download YBrowser_LanguageStrings.xls and translate the strings. Yes!! Now even Indian phones can have the latest firmware without changing your region code(which would have made the warranty void)!!

Nokia has officially released the update for asia users..

The nokia site isnt showing the ‘check now’ box for now (pic in attachment).

Instead I found the new firmware out by receiving an email from nokia informing me about the update (Pic in attachment)…

I used nokia software updater to find out the newest firmware, and it showed me v 20.0.15!!!

So that means we get better RAM,better battery usage, the N-GAGE application too!!!
