To change program settings you have to go to “Settings” or “Control Panel”of your device and in”System” section of it,you’ll find SmileySMS settings.
If before installing the program you opened the settings,you have to reset the device for settings to show up.
Also if you have sent/recieved SMSs before installing program,you have to do reset too!

This program is a plugin for default MailBox program,and whenever you receive an sms this program shows special notification message.
And also you can view it the same way in your inbox.
This program does not change your SMSes.

This program was mainly derived from my other project En2FaMail,which was intended to translate SMSs you receive into Persian(so if little features are implementated,thats the reason ),i just felt i can share parts that might be of interest to other people.So here it is.

Current engine uses an internal skin for notification.If i saw an interest in making other skins I’ll add ways to implement your own skins.
Also animated icons and Picture Messages(EMS messages) will hopefully be added in next versions.

———————WM5/WM6 users —————————-
By default(if you install on storage card) program only shows those sms’ in inbox with smiley after you have installed the program.
But to make it show all you previous smss too,just uncheck and check again “Inbox Smiley Forms” from program settings.
You will then be able to see all SMSs with smilies in your inbox.(if you install program on your device instead of storage card,hopefully program will work on installation and there is no need for this)

———————-WM2003 users——————————–
There is some known problems when you forward a message using this program,especially if your message has ” or ‘ in it,the forwarded message then will not contain all its text.
So it is better to use copy and paste and using reply instead

Send us your creations and we will post them to drawings gallery on this site. Just send an email with image attached! Also, include your name and any information you would like to be associated with image (title, email address, etc).

How to use Pencil Box Deluxe
First of all, you need to install Pencil Box Deluxe into PocketPC. The installation process is easy - just follow onscreen instructions. After installation, open Programs group in you Pocket PC and tap Pencil Box Deluxe icon. The program will load and you’ll see canvas and the following items:

1. 5 slots for pencil boxes storing: Tap Magic Wand icon in the upper-left corner to access slots dialog box. Select a slot and save, load or exchange your main pencil box with selected one.
2. 8 pencils: Tap a pencil you want to draw. The active pencil moves above the others, so you always can see what pencil is active. To color active pencil, tap it again. The color palette will appear. Select a color from palette - and see the pencil repainted with that color! You may also select another pencil and set its new color, too. Tap OK when you are done with palette.
3. Paper: Tap this item and Paper Texture Dialog will appear. There you’ll be able to select a paper to draw on. Tap Ok when you’re ready.
4. Eraser: Tap eraser to activate it. When active, eraser will move itself left-right-up-down. To deactivate eraser, tap a pencil.
5. Clear canvas icon: To clear canvas, tap this icon. You will be asked for confirmation. Then, you will be able to select a color for new canvas. Note that only current page will be cleared!
6. Save As button - tap it to save your drawing to separate bitmap file. Save As dialog will appear. There you will be able to enter a file name (or use auto-generated one) and tap OK to save the file.
7. Page number: Tap the page number to switch to the next page. If the current page is the last one, you’ll be switched to the first page.
8. Pencil size: Tap to change pencil size. The current pencil size is shown as a dot and marked as a pixel size number below. There are four sizes to choose from: the first (1) is for hard pencil drawing thin hard line and four (4) is for soft thick trail.
9. Pressure: Tap to change drawing pressure.
10. Exit icon: Tap the red exit button to exit application. All changed pages will be saved.

Hardware buttons functions:

1. up: Switch to previous page.
2. down: Switch to next page.
3. left: Show/hide onscreen controls: pencils, eraser, etc.

How and where the canvas is auto-saved:

Pencil Box Deluxe automatically saves the canvas to bitmap (BMP) files. The files are named as “PencilBoxDL1.bmp”, “PencilBoxDL2.bmp”, “PencilBoxDL3.bmp”, and so on. Files are stored in “My Documents” folder on your Pocket PC. Whenever you need to access, copy or rename them , you should use your favorite File Explorer and go to My Documents - the Pencil Box Deluxe canvas files are always there.[/LEFT]
