Requirements: Windows Mobile 5 PocketPC (not compatible with WM2002 and WM2003)

Overview: Freeware. This program will export the flash memory card inside the PDA as usual USB Mass Storage device (ordinary “usb disk”) - effectively turning smartphone into flash reader (albeit USB 1.0 only, and not very fast).

Authors Remarks

It was tested with Tornado Smartphone Platform with recent firmware update. It could work with other phones and even with PDAs, hovewer I cant be sure about compatibility, as I had to break some specifications to defuse “anomalies” (bugs?) in the propietary HTC/OMAP USB hardware driver. This just means what it means - some devices have problems with it, and on some WM5torage won’t work at all (notably on Typhoon/Feeler/C500/8010/8020 with “unofficial” WM5).

When activated, memory card will not be accessible in the smartphone, as all direct access to the flash card will be routed to USB. Take note that if some currently running programs have files open from the storage card, that can prevent Mass Storage from activation (”error 1f”). In that case, try to close all running programs (soft reset is needed sometimes).

Windows Mobile 5 is required. Sorry, but I cant possibly make it work on WM 2003, as only WM5 allows USB protocol implementation separate from USB hardware driver - on WM 2003 Ill have to rewrite whole USB hardware drivers, and of course its not feasible.

If you want to uninstall it, it is strongly recommended to de-activate mass storage mode first.

Tested on wm 6.1 pro, works perfectly.

ATTENTION PLEASE: Rename file.zip in file.cab, copy on your ppc and install.

Sliding visual feedback for Capitals

Slides for capitals are probably the slides you use the most often. A specific visual slide feedback has been implemented for the case where the capital letter is defined as the only slide choice for a given letter and direction. The slide preview will then happen on the key itsef as shown in the following picture:

* Key repeat
A key repeat timer has been implemented.
It enables a key to be repeated automatically when it is pressed and held.
The repeat delay can be configured in the Fitaly Options Operations tab.
Key repeat can be switched on or off.

* Loading of alternate Glossaries and Slide files
The new version now allows to load alternate glossaries and slide files.
You can load a glossary or a slide file via the menu or by using the Load glossary or Load slides metakeys in a slide definition.

* New metakeys
Metakeys enable users to define slides that do more than just text.
The following new metakeys have been added to our macro language:

o Wait can introduce a wait time between commands inside complex slide definitions.
o Load glossary enables you to load a specific glossary.
o Load slides enables you to load a specific custom slide file.

First put the .001 and .002 in same folder.
1, Run Hjsplit (Included in folder)
2, Select join files and input the .001 files
3, That’s it! The 2 files .001 and .002 will be joined!

Hello mobilers,

I had serious pb with activesync when I flashed my rom on SPV M2000 to pass from wm2003 to wm2006.
The connection with activesync always stop after a few seconds.
After many and many efforts, I found a little file which stop the problem.$
Here it is, hope it’ll help.
Put it onyour ppc and execute.
It has worked for me.

Okay i’ll post it here. Follow carefully, i have split the file to upload directly on mobilefunstuff. (Because mobilefunstuff allows only 1mb per file);-)

1) There are 2 parts for the TCPMP (.cab.001 & .cab.002). Put the them in a folder.
2) Run Hjsplit and select “Join File”, locate the folder u put the file, u”ll see only .001 file
Select it and then click on join to continue.
3) Go to the folder you had put the 2 files, u shall see another file, This one is the CAB one.
Copy to your device and then install via ppc. Ok
4)Copy the flashbundle to your ppc too and install (Flashbundle enables Flv format {youtube}

Well that’s all. I recommend that you install TCPMP in ur device not storage card because if you remove the storage card, you won’t have the player. TCPMP uses less memory than WMP!

I found it, first tested it in an htc p3300 [WM5], it worked OK!!
Not tested it in any other kind of devices yet. Soon…

But What the Heck anyway , u can also try it out and see if it is working or not. Use your Brains. Even if this is not worked for u, u can move back the older version with no device damage at all BELIEVE ME.

I ‘ll do my tests, u can do your OWN ones, no stressed.

Somethings Important : This is NEW version of the app. Pls post your replies if this really worked or not cause it would be very helpfull ;-)
