Usage

Player is ready to use just after installation and there are some items prepared in the playlist. To play the station in playlist you need to highlight it using navigation keys and press “OK”. After the key is preessed the message will appear showing that buffer is filling up with media data and playback will be started.
You are free to modify the playlist. By selecting “Add” menu item application will prompt a list of popular stations broadcasting over the Internet. Choose that one you are interested in and add it to your playlist. It is also possible to add custom station by enter its URL directly. Streaming stations are expected to use MP3 as content format.

Monikker lets you put a face on your calls …

1.Make ‘colorful’ calls to your friends. Their phone will ring with the Monikker sound and picture or animation you chose for them

2.Plus you can put different faces on your calls to different people

3.Change your phone’s boring sound-only ringtones to colorful Monikker ringtones. Pick different ones for different people if you want.

To do everything Monikker has to offer, you need to install the Monikker program on your mobile. It’s a free download.

If you don’t have the right kind of phone, you can still make ‘colorful’ calls to other Monikker users - you just need to register your phone number.

User uploading of Pictures & Sounds

Users can upload media (pictures, animations, sounds) into their personal gallery & so make monikkers which include their media; or else mix and match with media from ‘make your own’ galleries.

-Can upload multiple images or sounds at a time using via a ‘multi-select’ interface.

- monikker system automatically re-sizes images & enforces files size limits.

-In this (initial) version, audio files which are too large are simply truncated to the maximum allowed file size.

When accessed from the monikker phone program menus, sign-in is automatic. User does not need to type in phone number and password.

Device detection has been improved so that pages served up to a particular mobile phone browser are now customised to suit the screen size and aspect ratio of the browser.

‘Invite A Friend’

Users can invite friend(s) to become a monikker user via top level tab on monikker web site.

This sends an email to the invitee; and the email includes the World monikker of the person doing the inviting.

Re-vamped ‘my monikker’ page

The ‘my monikker’ page has be extended to include the following:

KD Player is a free J2ME based audio player created by Russiandeveloper Knyzhov Dmitry. It is designed for mobile phones running Operating System Embedded platforms. The program can playback audio files that are supported by the phone model, most commonly mp3 and wav files which the program fully supports.
