General information

AfterCall application performs various actions after call ends. You can quickly send SMS, MMS or E-mail messages right after your call. Without unnecessary movements you can make a new note, calendar meeting or task.

If you get a call from a new number, you can add this number to your contact list or update existing contact info right after the conversation, without entering the call list once again.

Right after the call you will view the call information: the exact call duration, the exact number from which the conversation was made, and the time of calling.

Application main window consists of the calls list. Unlike the Nokia native callers list, here all calls are displayed, even if they were made from the same number. So you can see exactly how many times and when somebody called you and from which exactly number the incoming/outgoing call was made. This is very convenient for the case if a contact entry consists of many numbers.

ADL Pro comes with a password-protected secure storage where you can place your confidential files. Files can be recovered easily by entering a password. You can use the security storage as a safety deposit box for all of your confidential documents, pictures or audio/video files.

3. SMS on SIM changed

ADL Pro alerts you if the SIM card on your phone has been changed by sending a notification SMS to a predefined number. The IMSI number of the new SIM card will be secretly sent to your backup number without the notion of the unauthorized user and your mobile operator and local authorities can assist you to track the new user and trace the phone.

For a backup number you can use the number of your backup phone, or the number of your secretary, spouse, colleague or friend. If you have more than one SIM card and you wish to authorize them to use with your phone, you can do that by simply entering your pass-code once and the SIM card/s will be remembered for further usage.

4. Remote Lock

Remote Lock is a combination of settings designed to protect the phone from theft and abuse. You can pre-select an action for ADL Pro in case an SMS with the keyword is received.

Options are:

- Lock the phone
- Switch on an alarm
- Delete selected data

By choosing the Delete option, you can remotely delete sensitive data from your phone, such as Contacts, SMS, Gallery, Calendar and Secure Storage to protect it from unauthorized usage. If this option is selected and remotely activated, your phone will send you an SMS with a confirmation request to prevent from accidental mistakes.

Note: Don’t forget to make regular full backup of your device.

Sir, there is a ship on the port. Who are they, which flag are they carrying? Sir, it’s a pirate ship and they are closing up! Rudder 20 grads right, all cannons get ready! Sir, they are opening fire, we were hit into the hull! All cannons on the left side, answer the enemy’s FIREEE! – In this way the atmosphere of the game Anno 1503 could be shortly described.

Anno 1503 is a game (like the name prompts) from the early 16-th century (times of sail ships and pirates) and combines together 3 different kinds of games. On the beginning of the game you choose: Either you can be a pirate and under a black flag with bones cruise the sea and loot other ships or you can be a merchant and make your money by trading the goods between cities and profit on the difference of prices (but who can say that a merchant cannot take his ship and cannons and make something “extra” by looting other ships for their gold and cargo) or you can just start the game as an mayor of an small village and trough your economic skills make your village a city and get rich and famous. The richer you are and the more people live in your city the higher is your rank (e.g. trader, nobleman, baron…) and with each rank you get access to more profitable goods to produce (clothes, alcohol,…).
About the third kind of game I must say this: It is one of the most complex and perhaps also first true building strategy for the mobile phones with really functional relations between supply and demand. By this, I don’t want to lower the other two kinds of game types; they are great in their own way and much more attractive for people who love more action in the game. The game saves itself when you quit. What we have seen on several Nokia S60 devices is that the game crashes after a certain time because the memory of the handset is full. Very annoying, so save regularly!

Graphics of the game is just great. Ships and cites in the action and action/strategy part are well designed, cannon balls splash in the water or explode if a ship is hit. The strategy part of the game (where you play the mayor of a city) is more “icon like” but all icons (or small images) are well painted and also well descriptive. Just take a look at the screenshots.

Control of this game is very easy and it gives you no problem to control your ship and pirate, as you will like. Keys 4 and 6 turn your ship left/right and with keys 7 and 9 you shoot your cannons left/right. I must also mention the great work the authors did around the help in the strategy (mayor of the village) kind of game. If you are in a menu in this kind of game and open the help, you will be given plenty of useful information about the tabs on the screen and „by what you do what“.

Anno 1503 is an exceptional game with very strong gaming atmosphere. For this, for the “3 games in one“ aspect, for the wonderful graphics, for the easy control and also for the very well done help, this game gets a mobile games award. Anyone who likes the romantic of the old sailboats and pirate times this game a is must. For anyone other this is just a very good game.

An old game I couldn’t find here, enjoy it!
