This is a fully customisable call recording application with rules for saving conversations for incoming/outgoing calls from known/unknown numbers. Unobtrusive and easy to use.

How to start:

1. To have Best CallRecorder saving only those phone conversations you need, select Rules command from menu and set the rules according to your requirements;
2. Open settings and customize the options you need;
3. Activate Best CallRecorder by Joystick click;

Features:

1. Automatic recording of voice calls, optionally limited or unlimited by time;
2. User defined storage memory for recorded conversations;

4. Custom rules allowing to automate call recording for different phone numbers and call directions;

Records view:

The records view of Best CallRecorder shows all phone conversation records. Here you can listen to those records, delete them and get detailed information about a record. The list of operations with records is as follows:

1. Play a record. While playing a record, you can change the volume with joystick left/right moves;
2. Call a contact or a phone number. If the highlighted record has a phone number associated with it, you can dial it even without exiting Best CallRecorder - just press the Call button or select this command from menu;
3. Properties - displays a dialog with detailed information about the record;
4. Send - allows sending selected records via Bluetooth, E-Mail etc;
5. Delete (hot key: ‘C’) - deletes the marked records;
6. Delete all;
7. Pack - deletes all records from the list which don’t have a sound file associated with it (e.g. if it was manually deleted);
8. Refresh - reloads the list of records;

Record rules:

Best CallRecorder allows creating the rules of following types:

1. Default - this rule will be put into action if none of the active rules is used;
2. Unknown - if caller’s number is not in your Contacts, this rule will be used;
3. Contact - you can set a separate rule for a specific contact;
4. Group - a rule for a group of contacts;
5. Phone - a rule for a phone number. You can use a mask for phone numbers. A match pattern can contain wildcard characters “*” and “?”, where “*” matches zero or more consecutive occurrences of any character and “?” matches a single occurrence of any character.
   Example:
   ‘*111′ - all numbers ending with 111;
   ‘111*’ - all numbers beginning with 111;
   ‘12?34′ - all numbers like 12034, 12134 … 12934;

Each rule can have the following actions set to perform when the rule is matched:

1. Ask before record - if this action is selected, Best CallRecorder will ask you whether to record a phone call or not;
2. Record incoming calls - enable recording incoming calls;
3. Record outgoing calls - enable recording outgoing calls;

Note: If you haven’t chosen any action or have chosen only Ask before record, this rule will be disabled.
Rules application prioriy (in case you have any conflicting or overlapping rules):

1. Unknown;
2. Contact;
3. Group;
4. Phone;
5. Default.

Settings:

In this dialog you can configure the following settings:

1. Activate (Turn on / turn off)

To manage your Best Crypto files you can use “Safe list” and/or “File system browser” features:

Safe list:

Add files you encrypt and decrypt very often to “Safe list”. It’s quite a handy option if you do not want to look for these files every time you need to encrypt/decrypt them.
“Safe list” detects the selected file state automatically and allows you to perform the needed action fast.

File system browser:

To encrypt/decrypt any file on your device use built-in “File Browser”. To access the file browser select “File Browser” command in menu. It’s easy to work with, just select any file (multiselection is allowed) and use encrypt or decrypt command in menu.

Session options:

For every file you encrypt you may assign different password. But we understand that in some situation users would like to use the same password to encrypt/decrypt several files. If so, select “Remember password” option in a dialog that asks you for a password. While the application is running it’ll be typing the last entered password automatically when you encrypt or decrypt files. So if you use the same password for all files you need to type it only once. After you close the application this password is reset and you will have to enter it again when you start the application.

* Reliable encryption of any kind of data by using the international industry standard system RC6 (ECB-Mode) and MD5 algorithms
* High speed encryption and decryption process
* Passwords are not stored on the device to increase the safety further. Password verification is performed by checking digital signs.

Please note: your password is not stored anywhere inside the application, encrypted files or in some place on your device in order to increase the safety. Password verification is performed by checking digital signs (digital signs say nothing about your password or encrypted data nature). It means that no person (including the application developers) can open and see your data without specifying correct password. Please don’t forget your password as there’s no way to access your data without it!
