Why InfoCell:
InfoCell is web based (not sms based) application. You can use InfoCell from anywhere in the world for accessing current news headlines in bangla, schedules of most of the bangla channels in your local time, bangla to english dictionary and english to bangla dictionary, vocabulary, general knowledge, general science. If you are a foreign bangali, the bangla to english dictionary and vocabulary may help you much.
Cost for using InfoCell:
As InfoCell is a web based application, the cost is very low. If you are an unlimited gprs/edge user (monthly package), then your cost is 0. If you are limited user (pay per kilobyte), then you have to pay according to data size.
For example, when you access news headline, the output is maximum 2 KB. So, the cost is 3 paisa for Aktel user, 4 paisa for GP user and 0 paisa for unlimited user. To search a word, the output is at most 2 KB (which will contain about 20 similar answers). So, the cost of searching a word is 3 or 4 paisa.
When you use any test/practice (for example, vocabulary, sat, toefl, gre, general knowledge, general science….), the output from server is about 3 KB. This 3 KB output contains about 20-25 questions. So, for a practice/test of 25 questions, your cost is only 5 or 6 paisa. Also, you can continue practice/test with the same question set without accessing server again and again by selecting “Reset” button. Thus, you can practice 25 questions in your whole day just for 6 paisa.
For vocabulary or other tests, InfoCell has implemented an advanced and scientific logic for memorizing.
a) When you answer wrong, then InfoCell shows the correct answer and also shows the question of the wrong answer which you answered. Thus, your memory will remember the question of your wrong answer and so, you have learned an extra word.
b) When you are practicing in section1, then the wrong options are shown from the next 3/4 sections. Thus, in the 2nd section, you are familiar with the questions.
Features in InfoCell:
a) Bangla to English search with phonetic spelling. For example, shadhinota, durvikkho, shikkha, brammon, oporanno, bisshas and so on.
b) English to Bangla search. In both Bangla to English and English to Bangla search, you will get all the similar meanings.
** There are almost 1,00000 entries for bagla and english dictionary. Searching a bangla/english word in InfoCell’s dictionary costs only 2 or 4 paisa and results nearly 20 related answers. You can search wrong words like fredom (in case of freedom) or fredoem or so on.
c) Vocabulary practice and test from A-Z : There are about 5000 vocabulary questions catagorized in 2 sections. Easy and Hard. In test, all the questions are available. But, in practice, you can select easy or hard.
** The cost for a practice/test of 25 question is at most 5 or 6 paisa. You can continue with a practice for whole day without accessing server and thus you don’t have to pay gprs/edge cost.
