Based on Microforum’s great 1995 Da Vinci PC game, you can now explore the works of the renaissance’s greatest artisan with an addictive 3D puzzle experience!
Scenario
Based on Leonardo’s designs, build his most famous machines by assembling 3D parts while following Da Vinci’s project plans.
Game Play
Leonardo Da Vinci Machines is a 3D puzzle game whose objective is to assemble an original machine using the machine’s parts. In order to help the players, Da Vinci’s drawings and plans are available to the player to compare the progress of the machine assembly. Once completed, the machine will come alive and the player will obtain a pass to build the next machine. The game play interface shows a building area in which the player can build the machine. Each single part can be evaluated through zooming and rotations in a complete tri-dimensional space. The machine, in every state of the building process, can be seen by using a full set of 3D movements in all directions.
Each part needs to be placed in the right location and according to its function, in the order required by the project.
Once the assemly of the machine is completed, the player can enjoy watching it come alive, showing the movements of each part which is an amazing effect.
The machine will be then stored in the Museum. A new machine will then become available for the next challenging assembly. There is a total of 5 machines available (helicopter, water pump, boat, columns lifter, crane). At any time the user can access the Museum and enjoy disassembling, rebuilding and watching the completed machines in operation. The game is enriched with a wonderful set of renaissance style music and sounds.
