Nowhere is in fact set nowhere, but there are mysterious goings on and you play the part of John. You also play the part of Lucas and the gameplay and storyline switches between the two. After a dodgy earthquake you lead a seemingly normal life until things begin to unravel and it all kicks off from there.
Nowhere is a very atmospheric game and the graphics and music really help to add to the tension. While the in game graphics aren’t stunning, they are reasonably detailed and the colour schemes and flickering animations definitely give a sense of fear. The sound is particularly well crafted and at times if you have it on late at night with no-one around, you may well get an eerie chill down your spine. Still, this is material we have seen before in the Darkest Fear series.
