XRick sisx s60v3
Rick Dangerous is a platform game I used to play on my Atari ST in the 1980s.
XRick for S60 is a port of XRick for Symbian S60 phones.
This port was possible thanks to S60 SDL by Markus Mertama, PIPS from Symbian and OpenC from Nokia.
You can download the game from here and the source code from here.
A version without the libs can be found here.
Note: It’s an early beta and only tested on a Nokia N80. Use it at your own risk! There are still many bugs.
What’s New
Current Version: V0.10
Ported to S60 3rd edition.
Added option to rotate the screen. Still not automatically.
Not working / planned
Crashes when screen orientation changes. I can’t figure out how to use CSDL yet. (help!)
There is no icon on a N95 (at least). Since I don’t have one can’t do much yet.
A front-end is needed.
Sound has much static noise.
Adjustable sound volume.
Jump to level, sub-level. (The game is hard!)
Cheating. (The game is very hard
