AmigoMaps V0.2.1 J2Me See where your friends are on mobile maps *updated*

AmigoMaps is a new social network with a difference… it’s 100% mobile! You can update your profile, pictures and friends all from your mobile phone.

Also you can choose to post your location on the map so that other people can see where you are or have been. You have full control over the privacy of this feature.

AmigoMaps features include:
1. Messages - Send AmigoMaps Messages for free to your friends and other people. These will not be sms messages so your mobile number can stay hidden.
2. Search - Find new friends who are nearby right now or look for people with common interests to you.
3. LocoBlogs - Location Blogs show nearby activity. People can post their location seeting it to “public” and adding a picture. This feature is great for finding nearby restaurants, pubs and parties. You can add comments to the LocoBlogs and see what people think of the places you have visited recently.
4. Friends Locations - Once you have a few friends you can see their current location on a map. See if your friends are doing anything fun near you right now! You can also see their past locations and see if you have been missing out on any fun…
5. My Location - Set your location whenever you feel like connecting with friends or making new friends. If you want friends to know where you are instantly you can even send an sms alert. This will only send an sms to friends in your mobile address book.
6. Calendar - Set up events with maps and invite friends so they can see exactly where it is. Friends can accept invitations and you can see a list of all people attending the event. If you have a busy lifestyle with lots of meetings you can set them up as events and then see the map whenever you get lost.
7. Friend Settings - Set the privacy for the locations you post. Hide from friends if you are at an exclusive location. See new friend requests, add and delete new friends. Also you can invite friends from your address book to AmigoMaps and send friend requests to your entire address book!
8. Look up address - If you want to look up an address without posting your location then use this feature. You’ll never get lost again!
9. My Profile - Set your profile photo, a motto and some information about your likes and dislikes so that you can see if anyone on the network has similar interests to you.
10. Session data - AmigoMaps uses network data to update locations, photos and maps. This running total shows you an estimate of the data transferred so you can check with your mobile operator to see if you will be charged extra for using AmigoMaps.
