AUTHOR SAYS I made a completely new Smart Settings theme from scratch and thought I’d share it.

It consists of a simple yet elegant start icon and an Opera Browser logo, you can see the skin here:

In addition it contains two new icons to replace the fugly restart phone and lock keypad 2-color images:

There’s an important catch though, anything you have assigned to the right softkey will show its name underneath the transparent opera logo. If you are using the Opera Mini mod, I’ve attached a renamed copy of it. It shows as a ‘.’ (full stop) on the screen, eliminating the problem. There are also ways of renaming symbian apps if you use the Opera Mobile version, but I didn’t bother. This was something I made for myself, like it or not, it’s your choice

INSTALLATION:
Make sure you’ve gotnstalled (It’s great, if you don’t have it, go get it!). Then just use a file explorer to put the smartsettings.mbm to /System/Apps/SmartSettings folder in C: or E:, depends on where you installed the application.

UPDATE! Two posts down is a version without the opera logo.
