Here is the wonderful VNES. Another NES emulator for your series60 mobile.
This has variable speed with full speed AND great sound.
Note: If you launch VNES with the icon and open rom somehow the game screen opens and music plays but it wont work.For me anyway.(On 6600 FW3.42).
If this happens to you simply open it by clicking on the rom instead and launching it that way.(A new VNES rom folder will be created (just like Yewnes and when its loaded into that you can delete it from your file menu.Just like Yewnes too).
