The Weather midlet is a Java application for mobile devices to check the weather conditions in different locations. Download the new measurement and forecast data any time using the Refresh menu item. There are different views in the Weather midlet and you can change the views with the Up/Down navigation buttons. In the bottom-left corner you’ll find the elapsed time from the last data source refresh. It’s measured not from the refresh button press on the phone but the refresh of the real computed/measured data on the server. Currently there are three main views:

Sunclock is a J2ME Midlet that displays a map of the Earth and indicates the illuminated portion of the globe by drawing sunlit areas dark on light, night areas as light on dark. In addition to providing local time for the default timezone, it also displays up to four additional cities on the map with the local times also. The map updated every minute to follow the movement of the earth.
Using the Setup menu you can choose the cities according to your interest. You have to specify the correct timezone values relative from GMT and the integer WGS-84 coordinates of the cities to display them on the map. Thus most of the current phones do not supports the timezone settings, the localtime will be calculated based on the Main City setup and the internal phone clock will be interpreted as a timezone corrected local time value according to the Main City timezone selection.

Here’s how you could change your Startup animation.
YES! It’s the way to get rid of the shaking hands!
- First Enable CAPS OFF
- Use FileBrowser and go to Z:\resource\apps
- Copy the startup.mbm, startup.mif and the rsc file corresponding to your installed language (*.r01 = english, *.r03 = german, etc.) to C:\resource\apps
- Now browse to C:\resource\apps and press ‘8′ on the startup.rXX file. now you have the hex view of the file.
- Scroll down to line 000050
- change hex value ‘5A’ which stands for ‘Z’ to ‘43′, which will be ‘C’.
- After saving the file, on boot, device will look in C:\resource\apps for the Startup.mbm and use it!
This combined with rol@N95d’s Startup-sound trick
Will make also your Phonestart unique!
So people start creating individual Startup.mbms
//EDIT:
I’ve attached a simple mbm for you to test it out.
////EDIT:
CONFIRMED WORKING ON N82, N95, N95 8GB, E60
SEEMS NOT TO WORK ON 6120, 6290, 5700, N73, N80, N81

The SMS Diary application

The SMS diary application reads all SMS messages that you have in your phone and creates a diary from them. The diary consists of three web pages (a web page is an HTML file. Such files are displyed best in an Internet browser but you can also open them in, for instance, Microsoft Word); one page with a table of contents and statistics on how many messages you have sent and received, one page lists all your messages sorted by date and the third page lists all messages sorted by name.
The web pages are saved on the memory card if there is a memory card available, otherwise the pages are saved in the internal phone memory. After the diary has been created you can transfer the web-pages to your pc and store them for future use.

SMS Diary supports the following languages: English, French, German, Spanish, Italian, Swedish, Norwegian, Slovak, Check, Finnish, Russian, Dutch, Simplified Chinese and Belarusian.
I appreciate any help to translate the application to more languages.
