Acer Liquid A1 (S100) approved by the FCC with AT&T 3G

Announced by Acer in mid-October, the Liquid A1 (the company’s first Android smartphone) has just been approved by the FCC and – guess what? – it has AT&T 3G support (850 / 1900 MHz).

We’ve previously heard about some of Liquid A1, so there may be some chances for AT&T to actually release the A1.

Powered by a 1GHz Snapdragon processor, the Acer Liquid A1 S100 features a 3.5 inch WVGA touchscreen display, Wi-Fi, GPS, access to social networking sites (Twitter, Facebook, Flickr), 3.5mm headset jack, and a 5MP camera with autofocus.

Liquid A1, another computer maker that recently released an Android smartphone (the Liquid A1), is also likely to launch a handset via AT&T in early 2010.
