N-Gage 2.0 For S60 3rd Edition Nokia Phone

STEP 1: Install SecMan.v1.1.sis
Open SecMan (BinPda Security Manager) and do the followings.
a) Turn Plat. Security OFF
b) Install root certificate

STEP 2: Install app_trk_2_8_9.sis

You have to install S60_3_0_app_trk_2.8.9.sis for Pre-FP1 phones and S60_3_1_app_trk_2.8.9.sis for FP1 and FP2 phones. Don’t make mistake!

Go to app trk and change your connection settings to USB. (Most probably you won’t need this application as newer n-gage games installation don’t need it anymore, but it’s good to have it installed for future releases and other applications)

STEP 3: Install NGageInstaller.sisx

NGageInstaller.sisx has all the applications needed to install and run N-Gage in your phone. So keep pressing yes while installing until the installation is finished. Ignore the not compatible and missing Os PIP notices. Now you have N-Gage installed in your phone. But it’s not yet ready for playing games. One last step is needed.

STEP 4: Install Patch.sis

STEP 5: Copy 20001079.txt to your phone and send it to C:Private10202BE9 using X-Plore. Search out the C:Private10202BE920001079.cre file and delete it. (N80 and 3250 users don’t delete .cre file)
20001079.txt file is actually needed to play n-gage games in landscape mode. So step 5 is not needed for n-gage compatible devices like N81, N95, 5320, 6210 etc or for any N-Series phones like as they already have landscape mode. But other S60 3rd edition phones must do this step to be able to play n-gage.

STEP 6: Install PIPS_s60_1_2_SS.SIS. Skip this step for now and try to run N-gage application and games. If you see any errors only then install it otherwise don’t. (FP2 phones like N78, N98, 5320 don’t need this file at all)

NOTE: To complete step 4 and 5 your phone must be hacked. If you have followed step 1 properly then your phone is already hacked by BinPda method and you should be able to install anything ******* by BinPda. But you also need to hack/***** your phone using the hellocarbide, caps on/off to be able to view system files and hidden files with X-Plore and to complete Step 5. If your Phone is already hacked then no needs to do anything.

Run N-Gage:
If you are finished completing all the steps properly now it’s time to run n-gage application and install n-gage games. How to install N-Gage games:
1. Copy the .ngage game file to E:n-gage . Copy the file, don’t move it. Now open n-gage application and the game installation should start automatically. When asked chose memory card to install games rather than phone memory.

2. Using app_trk to get n-gage games file from pc to phone. This method is old and new games don’t need this. You can get the n-gage file extracted to you pc and then follow method 1described above. To do this, don’t connect your phone to pc using app_trk. Run the .exe file on pc. Tick the options and click next. You will get a option to extract file to pc, select it and you should now have the .ngage game file on your pc.

And you are done. Play N-Gage. (Always turn platform security on before playing n-gage games.)
