Flixwagon is a mobile phone and web application that allows users to broadcast and share live videos from their mobile phones to the internet. Using our web service viewers can search, view, and share live broadcasts and stored videos in almost any category including sports, travel, news, personal, etc. Broadcasters can manage their stored videos, share them with others, and much more. With Flixwagon, you can broadcast your life…LIVE!
How does it work?
Flixwagon is a web and mobile phone based application that allows the user to:
1. Broadcast live videos from a mobile phone.
2. Access live and stored videos online. Anyone can check out these videos online. But if you join you will get increased privileges on the website such as being able to build a profile, subscribe, choose favorite flix, and more. Joining is also the first step toward become a broadcaster of your own live flix. Remember that signing up, downloading the program, and becoming a broadcaster are all FREE.

What type of mobile phone do I need to broadcast my live videos?
Flixwagon is working toward making our technology available to anyone with a camera phone but as of now our product only works on the following model: Nokia Series 60 3rd edition.
Whats new?
We just released our new Symbian version. We highly recommend to upgrade – if you are using one of the recent versions of Flixwagon you will be prompted to do so; If not, simply download the latest version (build 3.05.123) from m.flixwagon.com/nokia. Inside this version :
- Pause and resume broadcast: you can now easily pause and resume in a middle of a broadcast! While broadcasting simply hit ‘options’, and then ‘pause’ – and the broadcast will pause until you hit ‘resume broadcast’.
- Live broadcasts have priority over saved ones: when starting a live broadcast, any previous uploads will be on hold until the new broadcast is over. Once the live video is finished uploading, previous videos that have not made it to the server will resume uploading. This means that even if you were in a ‘dead-zone’ and have videos waiting to upload, you can still always go live immediately.
- Better indication of upload progress : we have added a clear indication of the upload progress. From now on you can see not only how many videos are left to upload, but also the progress of each upload.
Better organization of options in Broadcasting Screen: to upload your flix to YouTube or Ovi, simply click the ‘upload to’ and select the applicable service. Also, post to twitter is now on the main menu right before ‘Post Message to Chat’.
- Extended device support: with the new update Flixwagon should support the entire family of Nokia S60 3rd edition. This version supports much requested models such as the E71,N96 and Express Music 5800.
- And of course: bug fixes, mainly relating to uploading cached broadcasts.
Ever wish you could track and share your broadcast location ? well starting today, you can do that using Flixwagon ! and this is true for both GPS and non GPS enabled phones. And yes, you have full control over location privacy. A map was added to the right hand-side of our video player, where the location of the live or stored flix is presented. we will even show your detailed route if you are on the go (see example below) :
