* Start Menu: Visibility problem in dark themes
* Start Menu: Show icons for Java applications
* Start Menu: Blinking several times when starting Java application
* Smart Settings: Start Menu/Order was renamed to ‘Content Manager’ with easy to find functionality
* Start Menu: Confirmation message for restart

16th February: A new beta is available that fixes the following problems:

* Start Menu: unable to start unsigned application ( QReader, Papyrus, Aqua Calendar,Bible Reade, FExplorer, … )
* Start Menu: unable to show start menu when there is a java application ( Unable to execute for security reasons (-46) )
* Unable to install Smart Settings on some devices

Due to some Symbian 3rd edition limitations, there are differences between Smart Settings 2nd and 3rd edition:
1. You can no longer change the name of the start menu
2. You can no longer disable the standart unlock combination (Unlock+’*')
3. There is 4 seconds delay if the start menu is on the left side button (there is no delay for slider phones or for the right side)

Midomi v3.0.24 S60v3 - Brings Any Song You Want on Your S60 Handset *updated*

Melodis Corporation, a company based in Sunnyvale, California, announced the releases of midomi mobile, an innovative music search engine for Symbian S60 mobile phones.

The new application allows you to find music by singing, humming or whistling into your phone the song you want to download. The search engine accesses midomi’s online music database and uses Melodis Corporation’s patented MARS (Multimodal Adaptive Recognition System) to identify the song you searched for. Since its launch, back in January 2007, the midomi database has become one of the largest online music databases, so users will basically get any song they want. In addition to finding music tracks, midomi mobile also allows users to find music videos, playable on handsets via services like YouTube.
