Overview

Current progress: 1.11 version has been published to support the N73, and other third edition of the original cell phones and N95, and other FP1 version phones. If you have 1.10 before the old version, please manually delete c: \ Data \ FreeTones.dat documents, remember! From the 1.10 upgrade to 1.11 do not need to delete.

V1.10 version:
1, the new user interface
2, increased random SMS ringtone functions (database structure changes, means that the database should be deleted from the original document)

Finanz S60 is your all in one business and finance assistant for the phones of the S60 3rd Edition family :

* it handles classical business and finance calculations, including loans, annuities, compounded growth, margins, discounted cash flows, net present value… and also bond calculations. Calculations are handled in clever templates (20 available), which work like solvers in a spreadsheet and are particularly useful for repeat calculations and “what if” simulations.
* it includes a currency converter where the exchange rates of up to 48 currencies are stored. You can select the 48 currencies out of a list of more than 100, and display them in the order you want, on several pages. Exchange rates can be updated directly via an internet connection (disclaimer).
* it is a functions calculator with 48 functions, which you can program to do just any mathematical calculation you decide, with one or more variables.
* it features a days calculator and a “percentages for dummies” module. A dedicated module helps you calculate the tip on a restaurant bill and share between several guests…
* it is also a plain vanilla hand calculator, which can be operated in standard algebraic mode or in RPN mode (Reverse Polish Notation).

How many times in a day do you open a calculator for a simple percentage calculation? How many times do you need to re-do the same calculation, changing one figure only? Too much for an ordinary calculator, and too little for a fully fledged spreadsheet… Now you can do it the clever way on your smartphone: open one of the BusFin screens of Finanz, enter 2, 3 or 4 data, and let Finanz calculate the missing number, with the minimal number of key strokes.

he good news is that if you want to change one data and re-do the calculation, you will also do it with a minimal number of strokes. And you can “reverse” any calculation, like with the “solver” of a spreadsheet: “what should this parameter be, if I want the result to be this instead of that, all other things being equal…?” Each screen of Finanz operates like a little spreadsheet, where each cell can be alternatively a data entry cell and a calculated cell.

Use your Smartphone as a real Personal Assistant. Does it not deserve a fully fledged Outliner? Here is your daily assistant, which will help organize your life, at work and at home.

Just got a new idea? Jot it down as a new entry into one of your Projekt lists, or into a new list. Link it to a Contact, or to a Task in the built-in Agenda. Attach a note to it, as long as you wish… You will come back to it later, modify it, link it to an image or to a sound, move it to another place,…

Organize your life into hierarchical lists of all sorts :

* break the complexity of a big project into manageable tasks,
* write meeting notes or prepare presentations and lectures,
* prepare and check shopping lists, packing lists and other structured “todo” lists like cooking recipes…
* organize and comment collections of images and music files on your phone.

Main features of Projekt :

* unlimited number of hierarchical levels, for up to 300 entries per list.
* text wrapping of entries (up to 255 characters each).
* optional checkbox, category, value, date and alarm for each entry.
* each entry can have a Note attached, in the rich text format, of unlimited length.
* up to 6 links per entry, to entries in the Contacts and Calendar applications, or to documents or multimedia files on the phone.
* large number of filtering and sorting options.
* import of lists from text files or opml files, making Projekt compatible with other outliner applications on PC or Mac.

A list can be managed with one hand only, using the joystick to browse the list up and down, open and close sub-lists and check items…

Optionally, the checked items can be filtered out, as they are when one uses the special “Shopping list” commands : this set of “Tools” commands are specially designed for “repeat” missions like the weekly supermarket, where the same base list can be used again and again…

Value boxes can be displayed, where you can enter a cost, a number of staff or a duration …

Values are cumulated along branches : a list can be used to split up the costs of a project, to detail an organization chart…

Automatic addition of values along branches can be switched off (General Settings).
