Ok guys,

Some tip over here about saving up some ram of your cell for starting up Quake2:

Extract the pak0.pak from your pc into a directory, name it “temp” or something like that.
Now you have 8 maps and 23 files in that directory you have created.

Now hook up your cell with your pc, use “Mass Storage” instead of PC-Suite.
Delete the pak0.pak file from your storage card, you can find that in the “quake2/baseq2″ folder. Make sure your have a copy of that file.

Back to your pc folder you just have created with the extracted files. Copy all that files and folders into the directory of your storage card: “quake2/baseq2″.

Now it should look like this (see att.)

I now have 12 mb free of memory while playing quake2 on my N95-1.

This scientific calculator is configurable and contains most of the normal functions such as trigonometric and logarithmic functions, conversions, constants, memories and binary and hexadecimal notation.

It tries to figure out the best position of the menu, clear and equal buttons to resemble the phone model ordinary positions.

Hopefully it is easy and fast to use. One important thing to note is that most buttons have two functions. Press and hold down the key to access the “secondary” function.

Tea Vui Huang is indeed a talented developer. The lastest application I’ve come across from him is All-Format Writer a freeware Java J2ME-based application that allows you to create and send out short and simple documents on the mobile phone in various competing ‘next-generation’ electronic document formats. These include OpenDocument Format (ODT), Microsoft’s Office Open XML (DOCX), China’s national electronic document format Unified Office Format (UOF) and the popular Portable Document Format (PDF).

Most Nokia smartphones ship with inbuilt document viewers and this freeware will allow us to create documents on the fly too. Although this does not give us the ability to edit documents but the power of creating PDF’s on the go is nice to have.

Usage - As this application writes files to the removable storage, user permission is required. On the Nokia phones, the messages prompted will be “Allow application All-Format Writer to read user data?”, followed by “Allow application All-Format Writer to write user data?”. On the Sony Ericsson phones, the messages prompted will be “Allow application to read user data?” and “Allow application to write user data?”. Please select “Yes” in all the above instances.

UnlockShake v1.0.0 beta 1 S60 3rd Edition

Overview

It is with great pride that today announce our first application of truth: the UnlockShake. It is to unlock the keyboard to swing to the side and block the upward swing.

Question: Ah, but the ShakeLock does exactly that. What is the purpose of this application?

Answer: Well, how many people had problems with the ShakeLock (had to return dates and etc.), we decided to make our without these problems, apart from wanting to do something even better than the ShakeLock. For example: in my mobile phone ShakeLock not installed, then use the UnlockShake.

As mentioned above, many, like me, had trouble instalaçao of ShakeLock not succeeded in using it for that. Apart from the fact UnlockShake be signed and ShakeLock not, and with this confusion of Symbian Signed, this comes to be a big advantage. Another big advantage is that now comes in a proper sizing, as many were in doubt of some of the calibration ShakeLock besides being a calculation to spend less memory and battery.

The main difference between the two programs is that the UnlockShake need not be signed (no OpenSigned here… still well!) And movements to work are different: sacundindo in vertical and horizontal he blocks unlock.
