Fancy being a person of mass destruction while wearing a sexy ninja outfit. Well even if you don’t, being in the shoes of Ayane who is under the employ of Lord Gohda isn’t so bad. After all being the premier assassin of a good lord means you get to skulk around and do some slicing on the throats of stinky corrupt officials.

This time instead of presenting a behind-back-view, gamers get a more broadened over head view that is actually easier to deal with. While this might take the players away from all the action and blood that we love in Tenchu.

That’s not all, if for whatever reason the guards see Ayame and are able to get close to her the game switches to a side-scrolling beat ‘em game in which you get to use all of Ayame’s cool stuff like ninja stars and smoke bombs to kill the guard that dared look at you.
